We’ve put a lot of thought and care into designing a salon that prioritizes your dog’s comfort and safety. Our bathing and drying room is entirely separate from the grooming area, meaning dogs on the table aren’t exposed to unnecessary noise or distractions. This creates a calmer environment that helps dogs feel more secure and relaxed during their groom.

Yes – we always start each session with a one-on-one consultation to discuss your dog’s style, behaviour, coat, and health. Communication is key to ensuring a great result.

We offer breed-specific grooming, tidy-up grooms, full clips, desheds, bath & tidy packages, nail trims, ear cleaning, and coat conditioning treatments. All services are delivered with care and tailored to your dog's coat, skin, and temperament.

Our experienced grooming team is led by Stacey and Jess, who have over 17 years of combined experience. Jess also heads up the Queensland School of Dog Grooming, which operates onsite at Barkley Park. Both groomers are passionate about delivering gentle, high-quality grooms tailored to each individual dog.

Yes, bookings are essential. We recommend rebooking your dog's grooming appointments in advance to secure your preferred time.

Grooming times vary depending on the dog’s coat condition, size, and service booked. On average: - Bath & tidy: 1–1.5 hours - Full groom: 2–3 hours We’ll always contact you if additional time is needed.

Yes – and we take special care to make the experience as stress-free as possible. We offer a Senior Groom option, which is a slower-paced, gentle session tailored to your dog’s physical ability, emotional tolerance, and overall wellbeing. Please let us know in advance so we can plan the right groom for your dog and ensure they feel safe and supported throughout. For reactive dogs, we will need to have a direct conversation with you prior to booking to understand your dog’s needs, history, and triggers. This allows us to assess whether we can safely and kindly complete the groom. If a reactive dog is booked without prior disclosure, we will not be able to proceed with the groom on the day.

We use Petway products – high-quality, salon-grade grooming products made right here in Australia. Petway is known for being gentle on the skin, effective on all coat types, and beautifully scented. If your dog has any allergies or sensitivities, let us know and we’ll select the most appropriate product for their needs.

Only if necessary for safety or if your dog prefers it. Our grooming room is designed to be calm and flexible – dogs can relax off the grooming table in a safe, secure space with comfy beds and enrichment options. We offer both crate-free areas and crate rest options, depending on what your dog is most comfortable with. Our priority is always your dog’s wellbeing, and we’ll tailor their experience to suit their individual needs.

We understand that life happens, but we kindly ask that dogs are picked up promptly after their groom unless it's an emergency. Our grooming salon isn’t set up for extended stays, and we want to keep the environment calm and low-stress for all dogs. However, if you need more flexibility, we’ve got a fantastic solution — our 5-star dog daycare centre is located right here at the same facility! Separate from the grooming salon but on the same site, your dog can spend the day socialising and playing in a safe, supervised environment before or after their groom. Just chat to us in advance to arrange a groom-and-play combo.

To maintain a calm, focused environment, we do not allow owners to stay during the groom. Most dogs settle much quicker once their owner has left.

Booking is easy! Just follow the link on our website to our Gingr portal, where you can create a profile and register your dog. Please include as much information as possible about your dog’s breed, coat condition, behaviour, and personality — the more we know, the better we can tailor their experience. Once registered, you’ll be able to book an appointment directly through the portal. We don’t take payment at the time of booking, but we do kindly ask that you attend your appointment or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, so we can offer the slot to another dog in need.

Yes – we love introducing puppies to grooming! Our Puppy Intro Sessions help young dogs build positive associations with bathing, drying, brushing, and clippers. This groom costs only $50 and is offered to puppies up to 9 months of age. You can also book multiple times!
