Orientation day at Barkley
The Orientation Day is your dog’s first day with us, which is held on Mondays and Tuesdays. It is a full day of daycare priced at $80 and it must be booked online. If you can’t make a Monday please get in touch via email.

Arrival at BarkleyPark for your meet and greet with our Supervisor in our dedicated meeting space for new customers.

There is no better way to get to know each other than sitting together in person. We spend 10 to 15 minutes chatting about your dog before taking them into the facility.

You can sit back and relax on our sofa and watch your dog on our live feed cameras as they take their first nosedive into daycare. You can hang out for as long as you want here.

We will call or message you at midday to let you know how they are going. We will be super honest (we always are) so you know exactly how they are getting on.

Throughout the day we post on social media through storiesand reels. This is where you will see your dog's first day of daycare photo!

You are free to pick your dog up anytime throughout the day. It’sbest to wait until at least 3pm though so they get a good feel for how the daycare day goes.

A typical day at Barkley Park
Our facility includes 2 themed indoor runs (agility park and structures) and 3 themed outdoor runs (waterpark, playground and farm), with dogs rotated around the areas 2-4 times a day. We run up to 4 groups daily and organise these groups by personality first and then size.
We open at 6:30am and close at 6:30pm, with flexible (anytime you like) drop-off and pick-up times. We have two 1-hour rest periods at 10:30am and 2pm, where dogs can rest in a crate or on a bed. Lunch can be served for puppies, but is not recommended for dogs over 9 months due to the risk of bloat.
For small or shy dogs, we have a Small/Shy Dog Group daily with confidence-building activities and play, perfect for puppies too. Spaces are limited, so book in advance.
We are very proud of our entire facility but our waterpark and pool are a firm favourite among our dogs. We love to finish the week with a pool party on a Friday, complete with umbrellas, rubber ducks, volleyballs, and bubbles. The dogs absolutely love it, and so do we!
We also love to celebrate your dogs birthday on their special day with a complimentary birthday photo next to our personalised Barkley Park birthday board!
Arrival (from 6:30am)
Welcome to Barkley Park – Yes this is where you will struggle to contain your pup’s excitement in reception at the thoughts of the day ahead!

Group Assignment
Barkley Park is a theme park for dogs (5 themed areas) – our supervisor will assign your dog to a themed area and group based on energy, personality, and size.

Rotations
Your dog won’t have time to get bored in our facility, we rotate our dogs throughout the themed areas every 1-2 hours throughout the day.

Rest Time
We have learned that our pups get very tired after all of our antics with them, so we offer two separate 1 hour rest times (10:30am and 2pm) during the day. This means we send home tired happy dogs not overtired, overstimulated dogs.

Lunch
At Barkley Park we can offer your puppy lunch (not recommended for dogs over 9 months due to regurgitation from activity). We just ask that it arrives in a sealed, labelled container (just like kindy!)

More Rotations
Oh yes we do more rotations and more play! We have 5 themed areas at Barkley Park – Waterpark, Farm, Playground, Large Structures and agility play.

Social Media
We upload reels and stories to our Instagram and Facebook pages throughout the day so you can check in on the fun your pups having while your at work! We also do a photo dump of that days photos to Facebook at the end of the day.

Home Time (before 6:30pm)
Pick up is anytime you like during the daycare day. Upon pick up we will chat to you about how your dogs day went and how much we love them of course! We guarantee Tired Happy dogs!!
